I read somewhere that the aliens in district 9 were the workers of whatever race that was so I got to thinking termites have workers but they also have a soldier caste. Here's my interpretation of what I would think a soldier would look like.
i love this concept, but as far as warriors, as we saw from the movie, the mech was tight only to fit a worker inside, maybe they didn't thought this through, or maybe they evolved to be multitasking like humans, instead of having clearly different casts, just like us, its the intelectual potential that divides them into casts, since we weren't able to tell a difference between Chris, as an intelligent prawn, from others worker prawns, but still, great work!
Thanks! I figure the soldiers won't need the mech suit. The workers having one to compensate for their lack of brawn in relation to the soldiers. Not to say the workers aren't strong, they displayed quite some physical strength.
woah great job! I'm really hoping they'll make a sequel featuring the return. With backup You're left with so many questions after watching that movie.
If they're the workers on a typical mining vessil, why are they so well armed? And what would a military vessil look like? Surely with such armaments they've had some serious military history And also; given the properties of that fluid to turn other species into prawns, does that imply that they visit other plants and change local species into their own and bring them back as labourers? Fascinating concept.
You bring up some interesting points! I figure it might be standard practice to have weapons aboard just for safety measures. (in case they encounter Predators ) Makes me think there might be a fluid that can turn a regular worker into a soldier much like royal jelly has hormones that can make a regular larvae bee into a queen. I read they're doing another movie, let's hope its true!
Well where did you add them? I was thinking the bigger ones would look good coming out from under that head armor plate, on the sides and flow backwards, instead of straight up. Can't have the enemy grab hold of them after all.
